When Sare, a young Canadian woman discovers her presumed long-dead father is actually an Irish busker, she travels to Dublin to meet him. Shocked to learn she has a half-sister Suz, with problems of her own, the two embark upon a chaotic road trip to track down their feckless dad – and find themselves. A half-hour comedy drama which explores the messy, poignant, and joyous truths about family, culture and life in your thirties. Season 2 takes a deep dive into themes of fertility, motherhood, the impact of repressed grief, intergenerational trauma and self-acceptance.
