Life With Luca the movie picks up 15 years after the beloved series Life With Derek. Derek is a successful musician and dad to Skyler, and Casey is a married attorney whose son routinely crosses her firm boundaries. Derek and Casey independently decide to surprise their parents at their new ‘forever home’, but encounter each other instead. They are happy to see each other, but the teenage cousins – who have barely seen each other over the years (and never really liked what they saw) – don’t get along, uniting only to get into serious trouble.
