This feature film stars Miranda Richardson (The Apostle) and Academy Award winner Brenda Fricker (My Left Foot). Based on the novel by Pulitzer Prize winning author Carol Shields, the film was produced as an international co-production with the UK. Swann is about two women from vastly different backgrounds who are drawn together by the brutal murder of a farm wife in a remote rural community.
The BBC and the CBC each pre-licensed their respective television rights. ICON is handling foreign sales and Alliance Atlantis has North American rights.
