Hemingway vs. Callaghan

Adapted from Morley Callaghan's memoir, That Summer in Paris, the story is set during the writers' friendship with Hemingway through the 1920's. The four-hour mini-series features Vincent Walsh (Random Passage) as young Ernest Hemingway and Robin Dunne (Dawson's Creek) as young Morley Callaghan. Gordon Pinsent (The Shipping News) portrays the older Morley Callaghan, while Maury Chaykin (A Nero Wolfe Mystery) takes on the role of Max Perkins.

Rounding out the cast is Aida Turturro (The Sopranos) as Gertrude Stein, Patrick McKenna, Joe Flaherty, and Linus Roache as James Joyce. Directed by Michael DeCarlo. Canadian Broadcaster is CBC. Distributed worldwide (excluding Canada) by E1 Television International
