This feature film stars Gary Busey (The Firm), Miranda Richardson (Sleepy Hollow) and Mark McKinney (The Kids in the Hall). The film is a co-production with Halifax's Salter Street Films and is based on the well-known children's novel by Mordecai Richler. Jacob Two Two is too small to do anything himself... that is until he's sentenced to a children's prison for insulting an adult and his fellow inmates rely on him to set them free.
Jacob Two Two Meets the Hooded Fang received a 1999 Genie Award for Best Original Song, One Thing To Say performed by VIP, as well as three additional nominations. Presented theatrically in Canada by Odeon Films. Broadcast on Canadian television by the CBC. Odeon Films holds Canadian distribution rights and CBC holds Canadian television rights.
